So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Stan’s Lakeview Draft House is a family owned business. I started here as the Marketing Manager in February 2017 and am very much enjoying the fast pace of a busy bar/restaurant that hosts a variety of events and live music every weekend!
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Road construction has been a challenge and we are super excited to have Main Street close to finished so our loyal guests can get to us easier than ever!
Stan’s Lakeview Draft House – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Stan’s Lakeview Draft House is a Bar and Grill, with a great selection of food, all made from scratch and a wide selection of beer and cocktails. The restaurant features 24 draft beer selections, including many top selling Texas Craft beers, as well as domestic and imports. We also have a wide selection of bottled beers and cans. The restaurant features the largest patio in The Colony with a stunning view of Lake Lewisville where our guests can relax with friends and family while enjoying fabulous food, drinks and great service from our dedicated staff. Our patio is dog friendly and we also offer a free private party room ideal for business meetings, birthday parties, showers or any special occasion. We host charity events and fundraisers and are actively involved in giving back to our community. Our top selling food choices include our signature burgers and sandwiches, Queso catfish, steaks, along with many salad options to choose from.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
I love the events that we host that give back to the community. We have hosted fundraisers for animal rescue groups and shelters, police organizations and many other groups. It is so rewarding to see our staff come together to help non-profit groups raise money for a variety of causes.
