Hi Christopher, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I spent 25 years in Corporate America with companies like Kodak, Staples, Dell and Hewlett Packard.
I grew tired of the red tape, bureaucracy, lack of customer focus and poor leadership I experienced the last several years of my career.
I started Elevate Strategy Group to partner with F-1,000 companies to assist them with more effective leadership, teamwork and communication. We collaborate with leaders to ensure they are engaging with their teams in a way that equips, motivates and inspires them to greater levels of performance. We have been privileged to work with such incredible companies as Coca Cola, Aramark, Insperity and Danone.
I
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I think the biggest challenge has been sourcing key talent. I have been the primary “Rainmaker” to bring in new clients, create the content and deliver the workshops. Also, many companies understand the importance of leadership development but may not always be willing to make that investment in its human capital. Many of our clients have a Learning & Development group. We have to consistently demonstrate incredible value to justify bringing Elevate into the organization.
