Meet Claudia Revilla of Frisco, Dallas Texas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Claudia Revilla

Hi Claudia , thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.

Since I was a child, Christmas has always been a special time for me. I grew up in Mexico surrounded by beautiful holiday traditions and magical family memories, which sparked my love for festive decorations. When I moved to Dallas, I started by decorating my own home with great care, and soon, family and friends began asking for my help to bring the Christmas spirit into their homes.

What started as a simple hobby quickly turned into a passion and, eventually, a business. Over time, more people discovered my work through word of mouth and social media, which led me to create Xmas by Clau. At first, I decorated just a few trees per season, but with dedication, effort, and a deep love for what I do, I have built a thriving business. Today, I have the privilege of decorating dozens of Christmas trees each season, bringing joy and warmth to homes and businesses.

My journey has been filled with learning experiences, creativity, and connections with amazing people who share my passion for Christmas. I am grateful for how far I’ve come and excited to continue growing and spreading holiday magic through my work.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it hasn’t always been a smooth road. Like any business, Xmas by Clau has faced its share of challenges.

One of the biggest hurdles in the beginning was building a client base and gaining trust in a highly visual industry. Since Christmas tree decoration is a seasonal business, I had to find ways to make the most of a short window of time each year while ensuring clients would return and recommend my work. Social media played a crucial role in overcoming this, but it took time and consistency to establish a strong presence.

Another challenge has been managing the physical demands of the job. Decorating Christmas trees requires long hours, heavy lifting, and meticulous attention to detail, all within a tight schedule. As the demand for my services grew, I had to learn how to efficiently manage my time, plan ahead, and sometimes even turn down projects to maintain quality.

Despite these obstacles, every challenge has been a learning opportunity. With each season, I refine my process, improve my skills, and continue to grow both personally and professionally. The joy of seeing my clients’ reactions when they see their decorated trees makes every struggle worth it.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

I am a Christmas tree decorator and the founder of Xmas by Clau, a business dedicated to transforming homes and businesses with beautiful and personalized holiday decorations. My specialty is creating unique and elegant Christmas trees that reflect my clients’ styles and bring warmth and joy to their spaces.

What sets me apart is my attention to detail, creativity, and personalized approach. I don’t just decorate trees—I create holiday experiences that capture the magic of Christmas. Every project is tailored to each client’s preferences, whether they want a classic, elegant look or a fun, whimsical theme.

I take great pride in the fact that my passion has grown into a successful business, allowing me to decorate dozens of Christmas trees each season. Seeing the excitement on my clients’ faces when they see their decorated space is truly the most rewarding part of my work. Through Xmas by Clau, I aim to bring joy, beauty, and holiday spirit to every home I touch.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
The Christmas decoration industry is constantly evolving, and I see exciting changes coming in the next 5-10 years. One major trend is the increased demand for personalized and themed holiday designs. Clients are looking for decorations that reflect their personalities and tell a story, rather than just traditional ornament arrangements.

Another significant shift is the rise of sustainable and eco-friendly decorations. People are becoming more conscious of the environmental impact of seasonal décor, so I expect to see a greater focus on reusable, high-quality materials, LED lighting, and natural elements like dried flowers and wooden ornaments.

Technology will also play a bigger role. I anticipate smart Christmas decorations becoming more popular, with app-controlled lights, interactive ornaments, and even AI-driven design tools that help clients visualize their trees before decorating.

Additionally, social media will continue to shape the industry, influencing trends and making custom-designed trees more accessible. With platforms like Instagram and TikTok driving inspiration, Christmas decorators will need to stay ahead by offering fresh, innovative designs that stand out.

Overall, I see the industry moving toward more personalized, sustainable, and tech-enhanced holiday experiences, and I’m excited to be part of this evolution.
