Hi Clint, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have been deliriously happily married for 20 years to my beautiful bride, Amárillys, and dad to three amazing boys (Gabriel, Joel, and Liam). They are my greatest joy and inspiration.

I am the Founder of BigBoldBrave and author of the book Big Bold Brave – How to Live Courageously in a Risky World. It was inspired by the life of my oldest son Gabriel. He became a pilot at 17 (soloed at only 16!) and passed away in a tragic crash in 2019, just shy of his 18th birthday, while living his dream. In the book, I share the mindsets, insights, values, and character traits that have empowered me and my family through our greatest personal loss and keep living as Gabriel did, Big, Bold, and Brave.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I have had some tough trials and suffered from hard losses. From being a former drug addict and divorced in my late twenties to a pastor to losing my 17-year-old son in a tragic plane crash to inspiring people to be courageous humans. I have lived a very layered life.

At 12 years old, I faced living with a mother that suffered from suicidal ideation, which on two occasions almost cost me my own life. During our 20-year marriage together, Amárillys and I have experienced a miscarriage and two sons born prematurely (Gabriel at 3 lbs. 12 oz. & Liam at 1 lb. 14 oz.) because of her life (and theirs) being threatened by a pregnancy disease. While giving birth to our middle son Joel,  Amárillys’ life was endangered when she had great difficulty waking up from the anesthesia. There have been many other scary moments and setbacks. The biggest blow, of course, was the death of Gabriel. Even though this seems like a long list of trials there have also been many amazing experiences and victories in my life. Life is not easy and certainly not smooth, but I have learned that with faith in God, a resilient attitude, and a growth mindset, humans can turn any kind of adversity they may face into something beautiful that inspires and serves other human beings.

We’ve been impressed with BigBoldBrave, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My Why (from my website https://www.bigboldbrave.us/

BigBoldBrave was birthed out of suffering my greatest personal loss. I had a choice to allow the pain of losing my 17-year-old son in a tragic plane crash to cripple my life or to choose to attack life as he did, Big, Bold, and Brave!

I believe every human was created to be courageous. It’s already IN you.

I believe every human was created with a creative genius. It’s UNIQUE to you.

I believe every human was created to have compassion toward others. It will POUR out when it matters most.

I have had the privilege and honor to give talks, train leaders, host events, and emcee fundraisers for thousands of people over the last 20 years in the United States and abroad. I have a track record of creating energy, delivering dynamic content, and empowering audiences to transform their lives immediately! I have discovered that even though it is impossible to know when or how hard adversity will hit, there are foundational mindsets, values, and character traits that empower humans to recover from even the most devastating blows and thrive again. I have employed these in my personal and professional life, so I don’t just teach power points from theory but with authority through personally tested life applications. Every human being will face challenges in life, relationships, business, health, personal growth, and finances. Even the most successful people struggle with fear, gratitude, making courageous decisions, and being clear about what they want out of life.

I offer Keynote/Transformational Speaking and Coaching to give you the tools needed WHEN life punches YOU in the face, and it WILL! In the case it already has, and you’re struggling to recover, I’ll help you recalibrate and regain your energy, passion, and focus with simple, intentional strategies that have worked for me and my clients. If you don’t learn these skills…your dreams and desires will die with your imagination and you will succeed at failing! I can be booked for your event, team training, and to inspire and motivate your conference attendees or organization to live the life they were created to lead – Big, Bold, and Brave!

You’ll learn methods to:

Remain in state of peace regardless of the chaos around you.

Give your pain a purpose and turn adversity into a catalyst.

Step out of your comfort zone and make courageous decisions!

Develop and employ your unique creative genius.

Take strong actions that align with your values and desires!
