

Today we’d like to introduce you to Connie Chantilis.
Connie, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
We started selling box lunches door to door to hairdressers on Saturdays. I had a full-time job at that point. Each box had a card in it… as we got calls for parties, and our full-service catering was born, 28 years ago.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Every road has a few bumps in it. The food business is no different. The economy, keeping on point with tastes and trends, being relevant and attracting and keeping the best staff possible all present challenged at some point or another.
Two Sisters Catering – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We do from everything from box lunches to grand galas for several thousand people. We are known for having exceptional food AND service. It takes both to make a stellar event. I’m particularly proud that we’ve been in business for 28 years and that many key players have been with me for more than half that time. We have a terrific team.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
I would say, purchasing our headquarters on Gaston Avenue and setting up our own home.
