Meet Connie Legg

Today we’d like to introduce you to Connie Legg.

Hi Connie, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
I have always loved to celebrate people in unique and creative ways! I planned my first wedding 10 years ago and fell in love with the process. I have gained much training and experience since then, and I am still in love with event planning today. Every wedding or event is an exciting new challenge. I literally eat, sleep and breathe every event!

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
They say that nothing worthwhile is easy. That goes for running an event planning business as well. While the creative side of the business comes easily to me, the business aspect is more challenging, especially in the area of taxes.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a wedding and special event planner. I love it when a couple calls me and says, “we just got engaged, and we don’t even know where to begin.” It excites me to learn about each couple’s story. I like to bring their story to life in unique and creative ways through their wedding. It makes me very proud when a bride or mother of the bride says to me, “I don’t know what we would have done without you!” I think what sets me apart from others is the level of customer service and attention to detail that I provide to each and every client.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My family members deserve a ton of credit! They each pitch in any time I need them. My husband, Jamie, is my right-hand man. He just does what it takes to help me, no matter what I ask of him. My clients are incredible as well! I don’t take lightly the trust they put in me.
