Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has been neither smooth nor straight. Some struggles along the way include rejection from several civilian programs before settling on medical training in the military.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
The best way to work and collaborate with me is to have a similar passion for helping people in need. Blindness can be scary and “all consuming”. In order to combat blindness, sometimes surgery is needed, sometimes advanced lasers are needed, and sometimes a caring voice and a warm touch helps the healing process
