Crishtbel, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I am a Venezuelan immigrant. I emigrated to United States in 2015, and at the beginning, I was not sure what path was going to take professionally.
I always knew that I had to study the language to access better job opportunities and took several intensive courses. But I soon realized that the Hispanic community also had needs in the field of communications, And I decided to use all my years of experience in a venture that would allow me to help other entrepreneurs understand and access the possibilities of connecting with their audience.
I created my own consulting firm, Nebo Consulting, and began offering services for brand design and public relations. But my greatest experience has always been oriented to audiovisual production, so opportunities arose to develop testimonial videos.
Shortly after starting my activity as a consultant, I received an offer to develop news reports and that is how I started working as a local news agency for a Spanish-speaking national channel. Demand has been increasing every year, and so far I have developed projects for different media and agencies in the United States, Spain, Holland, Germany and China.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
No easy path leads you to real success. Every entrepreneurial process has its difficulties. Reaching the connections I have today took me many hours of research, professional training, meetings, mailing and showing my demo reel. It has also been a challenge to adapt my work methodology to the culture of each client. It is still a constant learning process, and I enjoy it a lot because every day there are new topics to learn.
Luck has not been a decisive factor. The most important thing is perseverance and the ability to adapt to new opportunities. The independent work requires high dedication because there is no specific schedule, it is also important to keep up to date with the behavior of the different audiences to offer the client assertive advice that allows them to see results that translate into benefits for their business.

Currently, Nebo Consulting offers news coverage for Hispanic media, and for entrepreneurs and companies, we offer advertising budget planning, development of audiovisual content for social networks, preparation of spokespersons for interviews and public speeches, event recording, interviews, public relations management, and coordination of community events. Our services are aimed at the Hispanic audience.
