Today we’d like to introduce you to Cynthia Diggs.
Cynthia, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I am a woman that has faced many challenges in life. I battled low self-esteem at a time in my life not really realizing who I was. I felt I did not fit in with the other girls and that was hard. I worked to develop my own brand years later after doing an in-depth self-discovery, Accepting my calling into ministry was truly the first roadblock I overcame. I truly did not feel I had much to offer. God showed me through His word how He could use the “Least likely” to reach His people. In 2008, I was struck with a rare diagnosis that left me unable to walk for six months. It was here that I experienced God’s miraculous healing and my life took a major shift. I have since done everything that I possibly can to walk others through their life purpose. Through workshops, revivals, live presentations, and extensive travel throughout the world, I am continuously afforded opportunities to share the Good News of Christ.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
My illness and the inability to walk was a major challenge but I did not realize it was also the eye-opening experience that gave me the testimony to share with others. During this time, I went through all kinds of emotional, financial, physical, and spiritual hurt that I could not seem to overcome. Now that I am on the other side of each, I use my experiences to edify, empower, and encourage others.
Please tell us about 4REAL Ministries Cynthia Diggs Ministries.
Cynthia Diggs Ministries is an organization that helps others deal with negative situations while expecting positive results. It does not matter the age, ethnicity, gender, or religious beliefs, when we are contacted, we go to work and offer positive resources in the interim. Under this umbrella are various components including K-6th grade tutorial services, one on one mentoring, conference speaking, workshop presenting and so much more! Giving to those in need is our primary focus and we offer homeless and bridge to bridge support.
