Meet Daniella Oyaga of Transforming the Mind

Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniella Oyaga.

Hi Daniella, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My journey began as a spiritual calling rather than a career strategy. In 2022, I felt led by God to start sharing messages of faith, healing, and identity on YouTube. I obeyed even without a roadmap, and within two years our community grew to over 100,000 subscribers. Since then, I’ve been able to mentor people from all over the world — from mothers and students to doctors, entrepreneurs, and even political figures.

As the community expanded, the Lord continued to reveal greater purpose. That led to Deborah Arise, a transformational women’s retreat created to restore wholeness, confidence, and identity in Christ, and Born to Prophecy, my mentorship program designed to help people grow spiritually and activate their God-given purpose.

In 2023, I founded the God Cares Movement, a nonprofit organization committed to bringing spiritual, emotional, and practical support to individuals and communities in need. Our mission is to reflect the heart of God through outreach, education, and empowerment.

Education has always been important to me. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and I was recently accepted into a Master’s program to become a Family and Marital Therapist. My goal is to bring both spiritual and clinical perspectives together — to help individuals, couples, and families heal from trauma, build healthy relationships, and walk in wholeness.

Every step of my journey has been grounded in faith, obedience, and a desire to serve. Whether through retreats, mentorship, nonprofit work, or counseling, my heart remains the same: to empower others to become who God created them to be.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The journey has definitely not been smooth. Walking in my calling often meant breaking molds and going against the norm. My design and vision didn’t always look like what others around me understood or accepted, which led to moments of rejection and isolation. Those seasons were painful, but they were also purposeful.

In the quiet, God refined me. The isolation became preparation. It taught me to trust the vision God placed in me long before I ever looked for the approval of others. I realized that success isn’t found in validation, it’s found in obedience. Every challenge stretched me, strengthened my faith, and shaped me into the woman and leader I am today.

We’ve been impressed with Transforming the Mind , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Mental health is a vital component in achieving long-term success and fulfillment, and this understanding has shaped the core of what I do. My mission is to build a brand that supports people holistically — spiritually, emotionally, and psychologically — so they can develop strong, resilient minds capable of overcoming challenges.

My mentorship practice, Transforming the Mind, specializes in merging psychology with theology. We approach mental and emotional barriers from a dual lens — addressing both the scientific and spiritual aspects of healing. We work with women to help them overcome trauma, anxiety, insecurities, and limiting beliefs. Many women operate from a “mental cage” rooted in past pain, and our purpose is to guide them toward freedom, confidence, and clarity. Through our sessions, we integrate behavioral therapy techniques along with spiritual practices, allowing individuals to experience holistic growth and breakthrough.

We cater to men as well, helping them embrace healthy masculinity grounded in emotional maturity, spiritual identity, and respect. We believe a strong family dynamic begins with individuals who are healed and self-aware, and we work to align each person with their purpose in a way that strengthens their relationships and their home.

Our approach is holistic. We integrate behavioral therapy alongside spiritual strategies, and we also implement supportive tools such as aromatherapy to help with anxiety, stress, and emotional regulation.

This vision led to the creation of my health and beauty brand, Royale Beauty International. We specialize in premium self-care products designed to help individuals relax, de-stress, and reconnect with themselves. Our goal is to enhance outer beauty while nurturing inner peace and emotional well-being. We aim to be part of people’s daily self-care routines, offering tools that help them unwind after long days and pour back into their mental and emotional health.

What sets us apart is that we don’t treat people in pieces — we treat the whole person. We create spaces where individuals, women, and families can heal, grow, and thrive. I want readers to know that our heart is transformation, not trend — we are committed to building people from the inside out, so they can walk in confidence, wholeness, and purpose.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I believe the mental health and wellness industry is entering one of its most transformative eras. As more research is conducted, the evidence continues to confirm just how crucial mental and emotional health are to overall success and well-being. I see tremendous growth ahead.

One major shift I anticipate is a cultural change in how people speak about their struggles. For many years, mental health conversations were surrounded by silence, stigma, or shame. But now, people are becoming more open, transparent, and honest about their experiences. Instead of hiding pain, they are seeking help — and that will continue to grow significantly.

Another trend I see rising is the integration of multiple disciplines. There is growing recognition that healing is not one-dimensional. In the future, the merging of psychology with spiritual, behavioral, and lifestyle approaches will become more common — something we are already pioneering within our practice.

I also expect advancements in research to empower mental health professionals with more effective strategies and tools. Restoration will no longer be viewed as impossible or out of reach; instead, it will become a realistic outcome for individuals willing to engage in the process.

We are moving toward a world where mental health is taken as seriously as physical health. And as that shift continues, I believe the industry will evolve from simply treating symptoms to achieving true freedom, healing, and transformation.
