Meet Danielle Ellis, Altovia McNeal, Treece Drew and Amber Foster

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Ellis, Altovia McNeal, Treece Drew and Amber Foster.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Danielle, Altovia, Treece and Amber. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Made It was founded in 2019 by Altovia McNeal, Amber Foster, Danielle Ellis and Treece Drew. What we wanted to do is serve as a liaison for victims of domestic violence by providing them with resources that would assist them in living the life they deserve. We provide them with assistance with housing, employment as well as financial resources to help as they make major transitions in their lives.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Anyone who has ever been a victim or witness to domestic violence can appreciate the amount of work that goes into assisting victims. It’s an emotional state when dealing with the situations victims are coming out of. We approach each situation with care and compassion because we want to ensure our clients know that we are cheering them on every step of the way.

Please tell us about Made It.
MADE IT is a safe place for victims of domestic violence. Through our partnership and relationship with different agencies, we will connect victims to the proper channels necessary to ensure their safety and well-being. Additionally, we will offer victims access to resources that educate and bring awareness to domestic violence while focusing on empowerment and restoring self-esteem. We are most proud that we are the foot runners of our company. When victims are seeking help, it’s the four founders who are diving in and getting them the resources they need. It’s also the thing that sets us apart from other organizations- we personally gather resources to provide our clients with and we connect with them directly.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
We wouldn’t have done anything differently- after all, we stand out from other organizations for a reason. We love being a vessel for those in need and every effort we can make to help make their lives better in the end, we want to pour into our clients, so they know there is someone who appreciates and sympathizes with where they are and where they’re headed.
