Today we’d like to introduce you to David Muse.
David, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
At the age of 24, I was diagnosed with kidney failure. I spent 25 years waiting for a kidney transplant. In 2016, I finally received a transplant! During those years on dialysis, I developed an intense love for writing. I wrote my first book about my journey as a kidney dialysis patient titled, “Just Keep Living”. I’ve written seven other books, that are fictional novels. My first published novel is about a family on the Southside of Chicago, that are trying to create generational wealth titled, “The Boss Family”. Both of my books can be obtained on Amazon, or my company website kaspublishing.com
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My journey to become a published author has had numerous challenges. I relocated to Texas from Chicago for the opportunity to establish my company in a more business friendly environment.
Tell us more about your business.
My company provides unknown writers that are hopeful authors with an avenue to have their work published and marketed. That was a major challenge for me initially. Also, we are involved with real estate development, and also real estate investment.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
The proudest moment of my career this far has been seeing my first book completed and published.
