Today we’d like to introduce you to David Robinson.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started off substitute teaching at my old High School (Kimball HS) in 2006 when I got done playing football and started helping out their football team and training there WRs on the side for free for so they can get extra work. Weeks later, the players told their friends from other schools and I had 40 WRs from all over the area at my session all based on word of mouth. Years later name expanded and here it is now I trained over 50 NFL WRs and counting.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It wasn’t a smooth road I used to get kicked off the field when I had my sessions in certain areas, people wild leave early without paying me, etc.
Please tell us more about your story. What do you do? What do you specialize in? What sets you apart from the competition?
I m a Wide Receiver specialist who specializes in teaching guys the fundamentals and techniques of what it takes to be a great WR. I m known for training Antonio Brown, Emmanuel Sanders, Dez Bryant and many other NFL WRs. I’m mostly proud of how humble most of my clients are and give back and still come train with me alongside my HS WRs in the offseason when they come home. What sets me apart is my attention to detail and how well I relate to all of my WRs
Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
My mom gets all of the credit; it was her idea that I start my own WR training business. My business partner Clay Mack Top DB Trainer In The Country he always brings his DBs against my WRs to get good work in competing. My beautiful wife Amber Robinson very supportive and helps me organize and manage my events. Lynne Jones, my photographer, Jade Burrows my Marketing Manager.
