Meet David Rose of Ameriflex in Carrollton

Today we’d like to introduce you to David Rose.

David, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I am a serial entrepreneur and currently own a few other companies. William Short, the CEO and owner of Ameriflex reached out to me through a mutual friend and asked if I could assess his go to market strategy. I was enthralled with what a great company Ameriflex is after I concluded a six-week analysis in-house and ended up taking an offer to become the Chief Revenue Officer.

Ameriflex he’s in the top five largest third-party administrators in the country. This company is extremely entrepreneurial, highly focused on customer experience and has the best in-house technology team in the business. Also, the company brings a Lean Six Sigma approach to measuring customer experience. We’re now raising the bar on emotional experience for clients too.

Our growth plan is innovative and based off of the Renaissance Methodology that I have deployed around the world. We also deploy methodology I developed around the theory of accelerance and modes to market analysis. We are also deploying the discovery I made after 10 years of research and the book I published, Overcoming The 15 Categories of Rejection. For the first time ever, all the sources of yes and no have been put into a typology which I lecture on occasion to Academia and speak to business events about.

Ameriflex is helping make Healthcare a better experience for families and has helped save over a billion dollars in taxes for our members. This translates to real dollars that help American families afford things like college tuition and down payments on houses. We are active in Washington DC with Congress and helping Progressive legislation for voluntary benefits which greatly helps American families.

This is just the tip of the iceberg and there is a lot more to learn about Ameriflex. I’m proud to be a part of the saga helping make this company the greatest in the industry.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Struggles in this business occur around education about voluntary benefits for the consumers. There are a lot of myths and fears that inhibit people from taking advantage of the tax savings that come with voluntary benefits. We are dedicated to bringing a more clear and concise message and using more levity and video to help solve this issue. We’re now touching hundreds of thousands of people a month in a more Innovative and creative communication manner.

Please tell us about Ameriflex.
We specialize in consumer-driven health care products. This is referred to as voluntary benefits. These are the add-on services to Group Health Care that employers bring to their employees. Specifically, this involves Flex Spending Account (FSA), Health Savings Account (HSA), Health Reimbursement Account (HRA), Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985 (COBRA), Compliance and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).

Also, we have a sister company called Acressa which has developed the most innovative direct Primary Care platform and the country to date. This is a game-changer and Healthcare. Not many people know about direct Primary Care but it is a force to be reckoned with and understood. Over the last 5years, William Short, owner, and CEO of Ameriflex have taken his ingenious Concepts and built a direct Primary Care platform unlike any other. William grew up with parents who were both medical doctors and he has a unique understanding of Healthcare in America that rivals anyone.

We bring a lot of technology to the market which helps make the services more readily available and easier to use. Plus, we have complete control over the customer experience meaning we don’t outsource any of this work and we do it all ourselves with quality individuals. We have plenty of mentors and supporters and cheerleaders. Groups like Aetna, Colonial, and American Fidelity are major cheerleaders and supporters of what we do. Despite the fact that Aetna bought a third-party administrator and paid over 200 million dollars for them they still come to us to help them with the third-party administrative services because we are so amazing at what we do.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Working with my father at his Texaco gas station was always fun and packed full of life lessons. Learning how to use a sense of humor and fast calculations to negotiate and win business deals were invaluable skills the family business instilled in me. I couldn’t wait to work with my family every weekend, every school holiday, every summer, and even some nights during the school week. To me, it didn’t seem like work because it was being surrounded by family and having so much fun and a lot of laughs.
