Hi Dena, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
At 16, I became a young mother, balancing the weight of school and the responsibilities of raising a child. Raised by my grandparents, I longed for something pure—something that felt like true love.
In the process of learning to love myself through struggle and sacrifice, I discovered trucking. The open road became my escape, my passion, and my purpose.
Traveling while making money gave me a sense of freedom I never knew I needed. The journey wasn’t easy—I attended two different trucking companies before finally earning my CDL—but every mile was worth it.
I worked hard, mastering my craft, and eventually built my own success—owning two semis and running a full-service dispatch company. The journey wasn’t easy, but through every struggle, I persevered.
Now, I can look back with pride and say, I did that!
From trucking to lashing, my passion has shifted, but my dedication remains the same. I now provide a full-service luxury lash studio, designed with love, peace, and comfort—where every client’s style, whether dreamy or bold, is beautifully transformed.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s has definitely not been a smooth road.
The struggle is real. Just stepping into a whole new industry all while maintaining home life.
There are so many, I’ll share a few.
Learning social media and how to market and create a brand.
Learning to lash with stead hands 🙌🏾 my hand was so shaky on my first few clients. I really had to learn a new craft.
In an industry of beauty. I had to learn how to craft a unique look of eyelash extensions, beautiful brow transformation, eyelash lifting of your natural lashes.
Learning how to create and edit videos was also a struggle for me. Having a device in my hands that often was a challenge until I learned how to batch create content. lol 😂
And many more. But it has all been worth it!

As a licensed and certified lash artist, I specialize in creating a luxury experience for women in both lashes and brows. My attention to detail and passion for my craft ensure that every client leaves feeling confident and empowered. What sets me apart is my drive and determination to stand out in the beauty industry. I didn’t let my environment define my limits—I educated myself and worked tirelessly to elevate my brand to where it is today.
The thing I’m most proud of is the connections I’ve built. My brand has become a bridge for me to uplift and empower other women, creating a community where we can all grow and thrive together. To me, it’s more than just beauty; it’s about building a network of women who inspire and support each other.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite childhood memories is being surrounded by the warm, loving presence of my grandmother. The kitchen was our sanctuary—a place filled with comfort and joy. We spent hours cooking and laughing together as we prepared a decadent German chocolate cake, each moment infused with sweetness and life. Those simple, joyful times taught me the value of love, tradition, and connection, which I carry with me to this day.
