Destiny, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
In August 2017, my parents and I were in a really bad car accident with an 18 wheeler in Minden, La. After the wreck, I lost my two jobs and needed money. I learned how to do the shirts really quickly and actually found my own creativity within it. To see my progress from 2017 to now is amazing learning new things every day, trying new things really helped but keep an eye out I’ll only get better!!
Has it been a smooth road?
Of course, nothing is always “smooth”. One small mistake can completely mess up an entire order. Try spelling a name wrong on 26 shirts and having to start over. It’s all about detail and that’s something I had to learn and quick!!
Alright – so let’s talk business. What else should we know about your work?
#DesignsByDanaè💋 specializes in customizing t-shirts. Personal shirts, business shirts, birthday shirts, wedding/wedding party shirts, etc.. whatever type of shirt you need. You customize it yourself or I’ll help and send you ideas. By the end of the conversation, magic will happen! I am the same day type of business. If you order 15 shirts and need them the next day they’ll be done that night no questions asked even if you don’t need them for another week or month whenever you order and pay a deposit it’s done! I have very cheap prices, I’m talking the kind of prices you definitely won’t find anywhere else.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I like that our city is close for the most part. What I don’t like is that our city will bring one another down instead of helping the next person or building the next person up. To our city, it’s about who’s doing what and who’s doing it better and it shouldn’t be that way. I know I’m not the only person in Dallas/Fort Worth with a t-shirt business but I do not talk badly about any other company. Instead, if I don’t know how to do something I’ll send the customer to someone else in Fort Worth that I know does shirts
