Today we’d like to introduce you to Diana Cano.
So, before we jump into specific questions about what you do, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I’m 21 years old and I’m a fashion model. I started modeling when I was 7 years old (modeled for three years). I stop all of my middle and high school years to focus on school! Once I got out of high school, I got signed to an agency (John Casablanca) and started over with my modeling there about a year ago! Now, I do most of my booking and it’s great and super fun!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Right now, it has been a very smooth ride! I have run into some trouble with photographers that don’t make you feel comfortable during the shoots or make you feel bad about yourself! But all that doesn’t matter because modeling is going great!
Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of. What sets you apart from others?
I’m a fashion model! I model everything from clothes to jewelry and hair! Anything to do with fashion and lifestyle. I am known for my catwalk at John Casablanca and I’m known for my amazing and creative pictures. I’m very proud of myself for getting myself out there (because I was usually shy) and getting into the modeling world! It really help me get out of my shell! What sets me apart from others is the I’m not your normal model, I look different than other models and my creativity when it comes to model and photography!
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My plans for the future is to continue with modeling and be the best I can be at it. Hopefully, get higher up there and I hope to get to work with some amazing photographers, models, and people in that industry!
