Today we’d like to introduce you to Dianna Blevins.
Dianna, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I grew up in a world that forgot about me, a world that did not understand me, a world who told me no, you can’t, you never will, or you have no place in society. Well, I set out on a mission to prove that old world wrong, and I did just that by facing my adversaries, overcoming my fears, dealing with my issues and conquering them.
I was a young mother of three who grew up very poor as a child without any positive role models or encouragement. After realizing I wanted better than what the world wanted to throw at me, I made up my mind to put my big girl panties and grow up. I obtained my GED went to college and received several degrees. I was on a mission to ensure my children had and experience more than I myself.
I have a background in the medical field as well as law enforcement.
I am currently an Anger Management Provider, Life Coach, LCDC Counselor Intern, Family Law, and Domestic Relation Mediator.
My mission is to reach back and grab as many as possible by reaching out to the youth and adults make a positive impact in their lives. We want to make it a point to change mindsets, equip youth and adult with success building tools, in order to produce productive men and women that are capable of making a difference within and around their own communities.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
This has been a long and difficult journey. Finding sponsors who will believe in your mission is the most difficult in getting started. Getting individuals to participate in your program I would say is the next difficult issue. I think last but certainly not all, is getting referrals is a process. Although the journey is hard and long, it is a journey worth taking

If I had to start over, I would make sure I had more funding.
