Meet Waylon Senn of Dog Gone Pet Waste Removal in Fort Worth

Today we’d like to introduce you to Waylon Senn.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Waylon. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I was divorced living on a friend’s couch and couldn’t afford rent after paying child support. I was cleaning my friend’s backyard up after my dog (who came with me when I moved out) and an idea popped in my head. I wondered if people would pay for someone to clean their own yards. I started secretly printing flyers at work and that’s how I began. In the beginning it was a need of extra cash flow then it became a mission of caring for the land, and the well-being of people and animals. After researching and discovering how dangerous of a pollutant dog waste is.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Definitely not smooth, this is an industry that is still very unknown. It looks years of testing by trial and error to figure out pricing, a logo, work radius, and how sell something that people haven’t really heard of. Let alone when to clean with being a fulltime employee, father, and remarried husband.

My wife Shannon has always been the driving force for me. She has never let me quit during difficult times, and does her best to be an amazing partner in life and business. Along with her my three beautiful children which whom I have probably driven crazy at times by begging them to help me clean properties, and work events. My family and my faith are the greatest things in my life.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Dog Gone Pet Waste Removal – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We are a pet waste removal company. We give people time back and take away the stress of their backyards. After months of not cleaning up after dogs a backyard could be infested with flies, ants, and the waste itself contains viruses and diseases that can harm people and pets. Usually the odor is so overwhelming that you can smell it before even entering the property. One of the greatest things I was ever told was we inspired a family to enjoy their yard again. They built a fairy garden for their granddaughter and put in a swing set.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
For the future we have plans of having a large employee base and hopefully becoming a household name in Texas.
