Meet Dr. Beau Sauls of Kinetic Centre Dallas in North Dallas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Beau Sauls.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Dr. Sauls. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Before going to chiropractic school, I worked as a rehab specialist for over two years learning about movement and acute injury rehab. From there, I went to chiropractic school where I helped implement a 3D functional movement screening technology, Kinetisense, into the campus. This included training doctors and students, helping implement the technology into the student clinic and creating a club still active on campus, where students can learn more about movement assessment. I accepted an internship in Canada with the tech company and the clinic associated with the technology. After five months, I moved back to Texas and accepted a job as Director of Product Advancement for Kinetisense. The original plan was to move to Canada and work in the Kinetic Centre in Alberta. Life never goes as you plan. God blessed my wife and I with a child and the Canadian government told us we would have to wait another eight months on top of our current 6-month wait. CEO and co-founder of Kinetisense and founder of the Kinetic Centre, Dr. Ryan Comeau, and I spoke about the future and the best option for the companies and my family. We went into business together and I brought the Kinetic Centre not only to the United States but to Dallas. This is the main clinic associated with the ONLY 3D functional movement screening technology that highlights the top 6 dysfunctions in your movement in real-time. The clinic has evolved into an advanced motion lab and functional wellness facility and continues to grow. As the leading expert using the technology in the United States, I train doctors and movement scientists around the country to help understand and implement the data gathered. The clinic doesn’t just have me but has (in my opinion) the #1 barbell chiropractor in the US (Dr. Brennan Riche’s nickname). He is a former division 1 powerlifter and still holds records at his school. He is an expert in Kinetisense and using it to improve performance and efficiency in movement. Our massage therapists also utilize KAMS (Kinetisense Advanced Movement Screen) and highlight the areas of greatest dysfunction to focus their work. Also, I host a podcast where we have pro athletes and docs from all over talk about movement… @kinetikast.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The struggles for the clinic have been helping people realize that a proactive healthcare model is cheaper and more efficient for their bodies. Preventing an injury will always be cheaper than treating and rehabbing an injury, not including the time taken off for it. By highlighting the top 6 dysfunctions in your movement, you can work on the areas that are causing the most compensation. This prevents additional and future injury, while also relieving excess compensation in areas that are already injured. Preventing injury and sickness is not only cheaper, but it feels better too. You are happier, healthier and feel better as you move through life. We are great with shoulders, knees, plantar fasciitis, headaches and low back pain… but why wait until you have it? With our tech, we baseline you and track your progressions and regressions through biomechanics and biometrics. Be proactive instead of reactive about your healthcare.

We’d love to hear more about Kinetic Centre Dallas.
The Kinetic Centre Dallas is the #1 clinic in the United States in utilizing the 3D functional movement software Kinetisense. We have also added in Shapewatch, the biometric scanning technology which tracks fat percentage, lean muscle mass and more! We are great at fixing acute injuries. We are the best at baselining all of your movements. We take everyone through a full functional movement screen to highlight the top6 dysfunctions in movement. It tells us which area, in what direction and if it is a stability or mobility problem. With this, we treat your current ailments and current dysfunctions. We have also baselined all of your biometric data (lean muscle mass, fat percentage, hip-to-waist ratio, volume, weight, circumference) to begin to monitor your overall body changes. This means we have all of your baseline data for your dynamic (functional movement) data and your static (biometric) data. We will show you your progression from where you are now, to where you are when we rescan. The data is also available on an app on your phone. Complete tracking of YOUR data. We help you become the most functional version of yourself, and we OBJECTIVELY track your entire journey and process.

What were you like growing up?
I was highly focused on sports and education. I liked to have fun but always made sure to get my free-throws in every night.
