Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Joseph Jones DC, MBA, BSEE.
Hi Dr. Joseph, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My story has been a blend of structure, service, and building under pressure.
I started out as an engineer (BSEE), which trained me to think in systems, solve complex problems, and approach challenges logically. I later earned my MBA because I wanted to understand not just how to build something meaningful, but how to sustain and scale it. My time in the U.S. Air Force Reserve added another layer of discipline and responsibility, shaping how I lead and how I operate when the stakes are high.
The real shift came when I felt called to help people in a more direct and personal way. That led me to pursue my Doctor of Chiropractic degree, where I combined my engineering mindset with healthcare — seeing the human body as a system that needs precision, balance, and intentional care. But instead of waiting until after graduation to start, I took a much heavier path. While I was still in chiropractic school, I launched and operated a fully functioning clinic. It wasn’t just an idea on paper — it involved managing other doctors, staff, operations, and patient care while still completing a demanding academic program.
That period created an intense level of pressure that forced my learning curve to grow rapidly. I wasn’t just learning clinical skills in class — I was learning leadership, compliance, finances, scheduling, patient experience, and decision-making in real time. I had to balance exams and boards with payroll, systems, and patient outcomes. That environment accelerated my growth in a way nothing else could have. It taught me how to make decisions under pressure, how to lead when I didn’t have the luxury of slowing down, and how to build structure in chaos. It wasn’t easy, but it shaped how I approach everything today — with clarity, accountability, and purpose.
As the clinic grew, so did the vision. I realized that physical health is only one part of elevation — people also need guidance in mindset, strategy, and execution. That led me to develop platforms and initiatives focused on personal growth, education, and community, using technology to help individuals and businesses become more intentional with their goals and direction. At the same time, I expanded into health-focused ventures designed to support recovery, performance, and stress management from multiple angles — blending science, holistic care, and innovation.
Today, what I’ve built is more than one business — it’s an ecosystem centered on one mission: to elevate lives. Whether through healthcare, technology, education, or media, everything I work on is designed to help people move better, think clearer, and operate at a higher level in their own lives. My journey has been about taking structure from engineering, discipline from service, and compassion from healthcare — and turning it into something that empowers others to grow forward with intention
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, and a lot of the challenges weren’t just professional — they were deeply personal.
One of the biggest obstacles was the timing and weight of responsibility. Running a fully operating clinic while still in chiropractic school meant managing doctors, staff, operations, and patients at the same time I was completing a demanding academic program. There was very little room for mistakes, and the learning curve was steep. I had to grow into leadership, decision-making, and accountability much faster than most people do.
At the same time, I was going through a divorce, which added another layer of emotional and mental strain. Building something new while watching parts of my personal life fall apart forced me to confront stress, doubt, and uncertainty all at once. It wasn’t just about keeping a business alive — it was about keeping myself focused and grounded.
I also lost relationships along the way. Taking on that level of challenge meant I couldn’t live like everyone else, and over time, some friends distanced themselves. There were people who didn’t believe in what I was building, people who didn’t understand why I chose such a difficult path, and others who simply didn’t support it. In many moments, I found myself alone, trying to solve problems without a safety net, feeling like doors were closing instead of opening. There were times it felt like people were waiting for me to fail rather than hoping I would succeed.
That isolation was one of the hardest parts. When you’re carrying responsibility for patients, staff, and your future, but don’t feel supported personally, it forces you to develop resilience at a different level. I had to learn how to trust my own judgment, stay committed to the vision, and keep moving forward even when encouragement was scarce.
Those experiences reshaped how I lead and how I live. They taught me endurance, emotional discipline, and the importance of building with purpose rather than approval. The struggles didn’t break the mission — they clarified it. And they’re a big reason why what I do now isn’t just about business or healthcare, but about helping others rise when life puts pressure on them
We’ve been impressed with L-evated Chiropractic and DREAM Consulting, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
L-evated Chiropractic is a patient-centered healthcare practice built on the belief that true wellness goes beyond symptom relief. We focus on root-cause care, movement optimization, stress reduction, and long-term function, rather than quick fixes. Our approach blends clinical precision with a holistic understanding of how the body, mind, and lifestyle work together.
What sets L-evated apart is the way we integrate systems thinking into healthcare. With a background in engineering, business, and clinical care, I built the clinic to operate more like a performance and wellness lab than a traditional office. We specialize in helping people function better under real-life stress — whether they’re athletes, professionals, or individuals dealing with chronic pain and tension. The brand represents elevation: elevating how people move, how they think, and how they live.
Alongside the clinic, I founded Dream Consultant, which focuses on personal growth, business strategy, and execution. Dream Consultant was created to help individuals and organizations move from ideas to structure — turning vision into practical systems. It supports entrepreneurs, professionals, and creatives with guidance around mindset, planning, and building sustainable paths forward. The work bridges motivation with discipline, helping people align who they are with what they’re building.
What connects both brands is purpose. One serves the body, the other serves the direction. Together, they reflect the same philosophy: elevation requires both physical capability and intentional action. Through healthcare, consulting, education, and emerging technology-driven tools, the mission is to help people operate at a higher level in their health, their thinking, and their execution.
What I’m most proud of brand-wise is that these aren’t just services — they’re identities. Both L-evated and Dream Consultant stand for resilience, growth, and structure under pressure. They were built during seasons of challenge, and they exist to help others rise through their own.
What I want readers to know is that these brands are not about trends or hype. They’re about sustainable improvement. Whether someone walks into the clinic for care or works with Dream Consultant for strategy and development, the goal is the same: to help them take ownership of their health, their goals, and their future with clarity, consistency, and purpose.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
What makes me happy is seeing growth where there used to be struggle.
On a personal level, happiness comes from knowing that the pressure I went through had purpose. Building under stress, losing support, and having to figure things out alone reshaped how I see life. Now, peace and progress mean more to me than comfort ever did. I’m happiest when I’m building something meaningful and watching it take shape — whether that’s a person regaining confidence, a patient moving without pain, or an idea becoming real.
Professionally, happiness comes from impact. Helping someone move better, think clearer, or gain direction in their life is deeply fulfilling because I know what it feels like to be stuck without answers. Being able to give structure, hope, and practical solutions is what keeps the work meaningful for me.
I also find happiness in alignment — when what I do, how I live, and what I believe are all moving in the same direction. After going through seasons of loss and isolation, I learned that happiness isn’t about applause or approval. It’s about knowing you’re building something honest, something that reflects who you’ve become, not who you were trying to be.
At its core, happiness for me is growth with purpose — watching lives improve, including my own, because I didn’t quit when it was hard.
