Today we’d like to introduce you to Dulce.
Hi Dulce, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I’m Mexican born and raised, and I came to the U.S. a few years ago with big dreams and a lot of determination. My journey started with blue-collar jobs, they taught me hard work and humility. After becoming a mom, my lifestyle and priorities changed, and I started looking for new ways to make an income while still being present for my family. That’s when I came across permanent jewelry, and honestly, it just stuck with me. I fell in love with it, the creativity, the people, and the stories behind every piece. After a couple of years, I stepped into the corporate world, which helped me grow even more both personally and professionally. It’s been a journey full of learning, faith, and growth, and I’m still building every day.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but I can honestly say I’ve seen God’s hand in every step of the way. There have been moments of uncertainty, challenges balancing motherhood, work, and building something from the ground up but somehow, everything has always fallen into place. Every person God has placed in my path has taught me something or helped me grow, whether personally or professionally. Looking back, I can see how every season, even the hard ones, had a purpose.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
My work is really a reflection of two sides of me the structured, professional side from my corporate background and the creative, people-centered side that comes alive through permanent jewelry. I specialize in permanent jewelry that’s elegant, simple, and full of meaning. What makes my work special is the story behind it . I get to create something permanent that celebrates connection and memories. I’m proud of how far I’ve come and how my work continues to grow with me. I think what sets me apart is the heart behind it all
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
I wouldn’t say I chase risk, but I definitely don’t shy away from it. Moving to a new country, becoming a mom, starting a business — all of that took faith and courage. I’ve learned that taking risks doesn’t mean you’re fearless; it just means you’re willing to trust the process and believe in what’s possible, even when you can’t see the whole picture.
