Meet Duprée Armon of Dallas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Duprée Armon.

Hi Duprée, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
As a young boy growing up on the north side of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, I was always fascinated by photography and videography—constantly documenting life’s little moments with whatever camera I could get my hands on. That passion grew in college, and by my junior year, I invested in my first real camera. What started as casual shots of campus life soon turned into photographing graduates, where I fell in love with capturing emotion and personality through imagery.

Before long, I found myself drawn to the creative world of fashion photography—the way light, composition, and style could tell a story in a single frame. That eventually led me to brand photography, where I discovered the power of visuals in shaping identity and making an impact. What began as a hobby has since become my career, and I’m still just as excited to pick up my camera today as I was back then.

Now, I’m stepping into an exciting new era—creative direction. This evolution feels like a natural progression, blending my eye for photography with a broader vision for storytelling, branding, and artistic expression. I’m no longer just capturing moments; I’m shaping entire visual worlds, curating aesthetics, and guiding the creative process from concept to execution. The journey continues, and the best is yet to come.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
This journey hasn’t always been smooth—entrepreneurship, like anything worthwhile, comes with its highs and lows. But every challenge has made the ride that much more rewarding. I’m nowhere near my full potential yet, and that’s what excites me the most. Instead of dwelling on the struggles, I choose to focus on what’s possible.

If I had to name one recurring battle, it’s been staying consistent through the process. Consistency is the silent engine behind success, and mastering it has been one of my toughest lessons. But with every step forward, no matter how small, I’m reminded that growth isn’t about perfection—it’s about persistence. And that’s what keeps me going.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a creative at heart—a photographer and storyteller with a distinct point of view. Fashion and imagery are my languages, but what really defines me is how I connect with people. There’s no ego in my process, just an open mind and a genuine love for collaboration.

My work walks the line between polished and unpredictable—clean compositions with a twist of personality. But the real magic happens when I’m working with someone new. Catching their energy, understanding their vision, and translating that into something even they didn’t expect? That’s where the best art happens.

At the end of the day, I’m just a creative who believes great work comes from real connection, no pretenses, just passion and a little bit of daring.

And when people look back on my work decades from now, I don’t need a perfect legacy. I just want someone to feel seen by what I created—to think “if they did it their way, maybe I can too.” That’s the real win: making art that gives people permission to be unapologetically themselves.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
While there isn’t one specific person to name, I want to give a huge shoutout to my ever-growing creative community. They’ve been instrumental in supporting me with both personal and paid projects. I always say, “a great team leads to great results.”

I also want to acknowledge my family for their unwavering support throughout the years, constantly championing my growth and aspirations. And, of course, I can’t forget about God—He’s been the driving force behind my journey, inspiring me to continue striving to be both influential and impactful.
