Meet Eboni Steward of Arlington Tx.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eboni Steward.

Hi Eboni, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
True Chosen didn’t start as a clothing brand, it started as a healing journey.

For most of my life, I carried what I later learned was an orphan spirit: feeling unseen, unchosen, over-responsible, and constantly striving to prove my worth. Even as an educated, high-achieving woman, I was still unhealed. I looked strong on the outside, but internally I was surviving, not whole.

Through a season of deep personal loss, grief, and spiritual refinement, God began to heal what success alone never could. That healing revealed a truth that changed everything: I was always chosen not because of what I could do, but because of who I am in Christ.

True Chosen was born out of that revelation. What began as a simple message Prayer Changed My Life became a movement centered on identity, healing, and restoration. Every piece we create is intentional. Our apparel isn’t just something you wear; it’s something you stand in. A reminder for people who’ve been overlooked, rejected, or carrying silent pain that they are still chosen after everything.

Today, True Chosen exists at the intersection of faith, storytelling, and purpose-driven entrepreneurship. It’s a brand, but it’s also a ministry one that invites people into freedom, wholeness, and the confidence to walk boldly in who God created them to be.

This isn’t just fashion, it’s freedom.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. One of the biggest challenges has been building a purpose-driven brand while still healing personally. Learning to lead, create, and show up consistently without operating from overwork, people-pleasing, or survival mode required intentional unlearning.

There were also practical challenges limited resources, doing most things myself, and trusting the vision before there was visible proof. Staying aligned with the mission while navigating entrepreneurship, faith, and life responsibilities has been stretching, but necessary.

Each obstacle has refined both the brand and me, teaching patience, obedience, and sustainability over striving.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am an educator and faith-based entrepreneur whose work centers on identity, healing, and purpose. In education, I’m known for creating supportive, affirming environments where students feel seen, challenged, and encouraged beyond academics.

Alongside teaching, I am the founder of True Chosen, a purpose-driven lifestyle brand that uses faith and storytelling to address issues like rejection, loss, and identity. I specialize in connecting personal development with real-life application whether in the classroom or through creative entrepreneurship.

What I’m most proud of is bridging education, faith, and business in a way that helps people grow both personally and spiritually. What sets me apart is that my work is rooted in lived experience, allowing me to lead with empathy, authenticity, and intention.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Start before you feel ready and don’t wait for clarity to come from confidence it comes from obedience and consistency. You don’t need to have everything figured out to begin; you just need to be willing to take the next right step.

I wish I had known earlier that healing matters just as much as strategy. Build at a pace that allows you to grow without burning out or losing yourself in the process. Stay rooted in your “why,” be patient with the process, and don’t measure your progress against someone else’s timeline.

What’s meant for you will grow in its own time.
