Born December 3rd, 1994 in Fort Worth, Texas but raised in East Arlington, Texas, Omni The Alchemist (real name Edgar Medai Montelongo) Is a Hispanic Artist/Rapper who is better known by his spiritual themes lyrics, rapid lyrical delivery, high pitched style and chaotic flow.
He has hits “Lamar Odom Freestyle” “F Donald Trump” “Inner God Flow Part 1 and 2” and his biggest hit to date “Arlington” produced by the Legendary Southern Producer “Lex Luger” with over 21,300 Views on YouTube. I’ve recorded Over 10 mixtapes, 4 albums, 1500 songs and counting, all under his belt over a span of a decade recording music.
Omni has made a name within Arlington Texas as “Young Eddy” but decided to change his name in order to transition into a more redefined and well balanced artist. My name means “Omnipresence and the study of Alchemy” I wanted a newer sound, newer style, newer way of re-branding myself.”anything else just ask!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Label issues, low moments of low income, job hunting while trying to maintain the music in the background, and so on
People doubting me, rap beefs, haters, the usual lol
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a rap artist named Omni The Alchemist and have over 1,500 songs recorded, I got like a good 7-10 singles that hit over 5,000 plays all the way to 21K plays
What sets me apart is my flow and my style of spiritual themed fast balanced dualistic sound and experimental type beat selection
And of course being Hispanic from Arlington Texas !
