Today we’d like to introduce you to Efrain Collazo.
Efrain, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Names Efrain Collazo also known as EPayne and Primo Collazo. I started PC2DC Pictures in late 2017 and in early 2018 I started getting more involved into photography and videography. I’m originally from South Fort Worth, TX. It all first started with music, I been making since 2015 officially. As time went on I noticed that I needed a cameraman and I also thought the idea of directing every music video for my tracks.
I soon realized that I have a passion for taking pictures and shooting film since every time I listen to certain songs, I imagine myself being in a movie that I directed myself. Today its 2020 and I have much more content coming in the future. I also have this show on youtube called ”called exploit vol. 1” its based off the behind the scenes, reality skits, local performances from Tarrant county and much more! Now that alone pushed me to be more committed into making videos.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
For a starter, there is always some sort of challenge but that’s the fun part. One of the struggles is probably just getting started since there are other people that do the same occupation that have a reputation build on their work.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the PC2DC Pictures story. Tell us more about your work.
PC2DC Pictures is based on Clark and Lewis’s ”Manifest Destiny” PC stands for PANTHER CITY, DC stands for District Of Columbia. Meaning from one coast to another ”Manifest Destiny” if you haven’t gotten the picture yet it means getting to be known in one coast to another. I specialize in Directing, shooting and scout spotting. I’m mainly proud of the style and the way I do things, I feel like that alone separates me from others. I’m a very backward person so I tend to do things that wouldn’t be done in videos like for example shooting film in the dark by street lights with no official lighting.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I don’t believe in luck. I Only believe in blessings.
