Ashley, please share your story with us.
I am the ambitious creator behind Eleventh Hour Lash Lounge. I’m a a Licensed Eyelash Technician by the state of Texas and specializes in the art of beautiful semi-permanent eyelash extension application. I have been trained in both Classic lash application as well as advanced training in the application of Volume lash extensions. Eleventh Hour Lash Lounge is known for beautiful lash work, great client experience, and educating every client on proper application and aftercare of lash extensions.
I offer extensive training workshops to those who are interested in taking a leap into the lash extension industry. I am constantly learning and growing my skill and has also completed advanced Microblading training which is now available at Eleventh Hour Lash Lounge.
My mission is to offer clients everything they need to look and feel their best through all of the latest beauty trends.
Everyone has a unique story behind their brand, mine just happens to include numbers! I was working full time in corporate America and part time as a lash technician working long hours into the night trying to get my business off the ground. For months, every time I would look at the clock it would read something with the number “11” in it. 4:11, 8:11, 11:11. No matter what time of day it was, I was always seeing the number “11”. Of course I went to Google to see what that meant and got nothing, lol. Then I finally had my “aha” moment and it dawned on me that I was literally working until the “eleventh hour” trying to build a business! Not only did I manage to create a business but I was able to create a lifestyle brand. “Ambition has no curfew.” Never stop working on the things you love and the goals that you have set. We all have the same 24 hours in a day; make it count!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Every successful business owner faces some type of struggle. If you work hard to start anything from the ground up, you are bound to come across hurdles on your path. In the day of social media and social media climbing, it can be hard to not compare your race to someone else.
I’m a perfectionist and that can be a gift and a curse because I don’t always see how good I am. I’m blessed to have a support system of family, friends, mentors, and even my clients who encourage and pray for me and the success of my business and guide me in my areas where I need help.
When I have those days where I feel like I’m not doing enough or business is stagnant, I take a hiatus from social media to regroup and recharge. I tell myself and to remember why I started and revisit my goals that I have written down. Don’t Compare. Don’t compete. Run your own race! Stay true to yourself because that’s what works!
If there is something that I don’t know, I can’t be afraid to ask and continue to educate myself.

Eleventh Hour Lash Lounge is a self-owned beauty studio located in Dallas near the Galleria. Clients can book appointments for semi-permanent Eyelash Extensions, Semi-permanent brow services which include microblading and ombré brows. Eleventh Hour Lash Lounge also offers certified training in both one on one and group settings for individuals seeking training in the Art of Lash Extensions.
Over the past 3 1/2 years I’ve watched my vision come to life. Something that started as just a goal on my vision board as a means to provide financial stability for my family and I, has manifested into a career where I can make people feel beautiful. Talking to my clients and sharing my journey has cultivated relationships that I never would’ve experienced working my previous career. Being able to be transparent in the ups and downs of life and business and help mentor several others has been absolutely fulfilling.
I believe that the pride I take in my work and my professionalism has marked my place in this industry and I am continuously striving to make it stronger and better than the day before.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up as the oldest child has definitely prepared me for this moment in life! I grew up with sisters and cousins and they always told me I was a leader. They probably even used the word “bossy” occasionally but it always came from a loving and trusting place, lol! I remember talking to my parents before starting my business and they both reassured me that my ability to lead others and start and finish my goals is something they’ve seen in me as a child and believed that I could be successful in my new venture. Funny enough, I used to love doing hair and makeup for my family and friends but never wanted to be in the beauty industry. I was eager to climb the corporate ladder but its funny how life works out!
