Today we’d like to introduce you to Eric Anthony.
Eric, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
June 2015, I had total knee replacement surgery. On my final Doctor visit to be released back to work, it was discovered that one of the plates was separating from the bone. October of the same year I had to have a revision surgery (replace the knee with a new one) November 2nd (of the same year) I was hospitalized for complications from that procedure. On November 13th (same year) still hospitalized, I was terminated from my employer of 22 years.
My first response was panic and disbelief! Trying to understand how a Major Corporation can be so heartless, and how I was going to provide for my family of 6! My “why me party” didn’t last long! God quickly reminded me, “I am his child and I am more than a bird!
I ask God to reveal to me what’s next? You allowed this door to close, what do you have planned for me?
While lying there in that hospital bed, God reminded me of my passion for Photography. I’ve had it since I was a teenager. I was the one who came to the family and friends functions with a camera or camcorder. Then it hit me Photography!
By the time I was released November 19th plans for 4 E’s Photography were in motion! People asked how I came up with the name? Photography needs she be easy and affordable. Also, all our children first name start with the letter “E” (Eric, Ethan, Erin, and Evan)
Our work has been publish in Majestic Magazine cover and story. We’ve also done a book cover! One of our sports composites was featured in USA Today!
God has been truly blessing us! To God be all the Glory!
Has it been a smooth road?
Since God is the core of 4 E’s Photography, I honestly don’t see obstacles and challenges. Everything is done on Gods timing, not mine. God has brought forth opportunities that I could only imagine! Gods hand is even in this interview.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with 4 E’s Photography – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Our business is based on biblical principles! We treat everyone with the Love of Christ. It’s not all about the money! We build relationships with our clients! We tend to do more portraits than any other types of photography. When you approach people in Love, you are received in Love. That allows our clients to relax and their personality really shines in the photos. What sets us apart from other Photography Businesses? You would have to answer that once you’ve experienced 4 E’s Photography.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I like the culture and diversity of Dallas! There’s something for everyone to enjoy. I least like the traffic!!!
