Today we’d like to introduce you to Eric Easter.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I was born and raised in Auburn, California and was a fireman for 10 years before getting in the golf business. I’ve been married to my lovely wife Rachel for 10 years and we have a daughter named Brooke.
I am a PGA golf professional. I started at Woodbridge golf club in 2008 as an assistant pro. I graduated from the PGA of America program in 2010. With my hard work and long hours, I was promoted to first assistant and within the last two years, I
was promoted to general manager of the golf club.
I gave numerous lessons and clinics and camps two golfers of all ages and all skill levels. I also created a golf program with the Wiley ISD school district where seventh and eighth graders come to the golf course for a golf class and earn PE credits through the school district. It is a One of a kind program and I believe I’m the only one in the country doing it at this time.
I started a charity golf tournament three years ago for DFW military heroes and we have raised over $30,000 for local wounded warriors.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Playing mini tour golf tournaments without a sponsorship.
Moving from California to Texas with a nine-month-old with little to no money in the bank and not having a job when moving to Texas.
But we have made it!!!!

I am proud of our customer service it is second to none and the Wiley ISD golf program that we run.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Running the DFW military hero’s charity golf tournament and raising over $30,000 to donate to local wanted warriors.
