Thanks for sharing your story with us Eric. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Originally started as an Art Gallery, but morphed into an event venue because of a friend’s company wanting to do their holiday party at the gallery, and then took off from there.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Often the path to greatness is never smooth. Struggles were getting a loan, surviving financially at the beginning with just earning money from the venue alone. And then having to work 2 jobs to make ends meet. Designing the venue the wrong way and having to start over. Not having the capital to complete all the work quickly, or at all.
Please tell us about The Quixotic World Magical Event Space.
The Quixotic World is a theatrical magical event space located in the historic Deep Ellum District of Dallas. It is a unique, otherworldly space which features Interior Design of the Imagination. That is what we are known for and sets us apart. There is no other venue even close to what we are in Dallas (design-wise). Besides that, we are known for our stellar customer service. We rent it out for all kinds of events and photo/film shoots. Specialize in Weddings and Birthdays.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My first kiss with Lori Decker. 🙂

- $100/hr film/photo/video shoots
- Venue rental anywhere from $600-$5,000 depending on length of event, date, day of week, guest count, type of event.
