Today we’d like to introduce you to Estella Kirk.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started out in modeling and acting at the age of 7, I have walked in New York Fashion Week, L.A. Fashion Week, Cannes Fashion Festival as well as runway shows in Dallas & Atlanta.
Nancy Vuu who is a luxury couture designer contacted me about a role in her short fashion film “Unto Me.” From there, I developed an interest in acting and have had several roles including Keep the change, Pretty Outrages, and the Clock Maker.
In May 2016, I won Young talent best actress for “Unto Me” at the Cannes Film Festival in France.
My true love and passion is music and I travel to Addison to study at the Septien Entertainment group at least three times a week and sometimes, on the weekends as well for performances. I have been fortunate enough to perform at the Jingle Ball at the American Airlines Center, House of Blues, Gas Monkey Live & Love & War just to name a few.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Of course, it’s not been a smooth ride, it takes a lot of commitment. I am homeschooled to pursue my career and sometimes my friends think I am crazy to be 13 and already be so focused on my career but I believe that is what it takes.
Sometimes, I practice and work ten hours a day plus spend a lot of time in the car traveling to gigs or training. I have a lot of performance opportunities around the holidays so instead of being with family I may perform.
Friendships are hard, people don’t understand your passion. You may miss sleepovers or birthday parties because of practicing or performances but I would change a single thing.
You get told no a lot, you may go to 50 auditions and not even book one but you have to stay focused and stay determined!
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Estella Kirk Music – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
What sets me apart from others is my work ethic, I am very dedicated and an extremely hard worker. I want to make sure that what I do I do well, sometimes I may be overprepared. I try to encourage everyone, you have to believe in yourself and help others along the way.

Yes, I am currently working on songwriting and will be releasing some of my originals soon!
