Evelina, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
TCF Lab Service was a table dream. The name means take charge first in your life. But I knew absolutely nothing about this industry. But I was determined to open up the 1st and only Black Female owned Patient Service Center, with a teste of the concierge feel. Trust and believe everyone thought there was no way I had did all this by myself; me being a dropout in high school, didn’t learn to read until I was around 23 yrs. of age, and sometimes I still mess up on a few words. (smile). Did you know you can google any and everything? That’s what I did. I couldn’t do too much I had very little to know money to be perfectly honest; I had $54.68. I bought an all-in-one printer, 1 pack of manilla paper, and a pack 0.07 gel pen. Then I started my own brand. marketing, advertising even going in doctors’ offices doing free blood draws. I have been told if you sign up with TCF lab Services the job will get done. then from there on up hell. Don’t ever forget who you are and what you stand for. as long as God has air in your lung do not stop!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
While, at some point, I couldn’t blame people, especially the ones I knew, would come around that I really thought was to visit me, but it was to still my concept most of the time; they just wonder how I was doing so while at this point, at this time I was moving so fast traveling all over the world, I was so focus. Every time I would get a contract another company would call the client and give another fax number, how dirty that was, to send all my blood draws for the next day, so think about it, now double lab orders are out in the field, it was so frustrated at times when you knew your number then overnight the devil was working the midnight shift. Thank God the TCF Labs brand was never at any point miss mistaking! When you love what you are doing, you’ll never work again.
We’ve been impressed with TCF Lab Service LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Where a Phlebotomy service to mostly service homebound patients. There’s a lot of mobile Doctors and Nurse Practitioners need our service as while telemedicine. So, we try to support them with the lab area. we do the PCR Covid-19 test, also people love coming to us there in and out less than 10min or less; Walkin is available. we do drug testing, DNA testing, ancestors, Paternity testing, also paternal and maternal testing, peekaboo testing, etc. I always say why worry about anything if you can’t fix it, someone else can.
Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs, or other resources you think our readers should check out?
This part for me was kind of difficult because everyone is on their own scale of routines, but I had to read mind meditations like Brain Washed by Manny Arango, Mastery by Robert Greene. So many just stay in your line Barnes &Noble, then that when life began.
