Meet Fade Eros

Today we’d like to introduce you to Fade Eros.

Fade, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I have always had an interest in everything beauty for as long as I can remember, and flirted with the beauty industry as soon as I was able to work. I have always had an affinity for colors, lines, shapes, and dimension and appreciated and admired artists that pushed the line. My background is in Experiential Marketing, and I would always gravitate toward opportunities in the field that was beauty and makeup related.

I have been a brand ambassador, and product expert for beauty companies such as Cover Girl and L’Oreal and I use the experience I have gathered over the years to make sure my clients look and feel they’re very best on any given occasion. At Fade Eros beauty, we specialize in bridal makeup, including cultural weddings and African head wraps (gele) styling, along with quality, photo-friendly makeup that is breathable and long-lasting.

Has it been a smooth road?
I am so fortunate to have the best support. My family and friends being harbingers of my earlier accolades validating my growing talent. That being said, it was and is not an easy road; there are always going to be challenges.

My first challenge and struggle was myself. I had to get out of my own head and get rid of any form of fear and doubt. Doubt and fear are the worst, and it’s doubly toxic if you don’t have some kind of way to get rid of them.

We’d love to hear more about what you do.
I am a makeup artist specializing in the Beauty and Editorial Genres. I am so proud of the fact that I made the decision to start and the vision I have for it.

At Fade Eros Beauty, we believe that beauty starts from within, and makeup is the crowning jewel! We enhance what you already have by accentuating your best features and bringing forth your best you!

What sets us apart is the fact that we pay attention to your needs and your opinion matters. We want you to be comfortable in your own skin and put our professional touch to it. We believe in the statement “It’s still you! But Enhanced! ”

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I do believe that Dallas is a great city for my business. Dallas very central and is close to other outlier cities so you can Geo-market to other cities close by for an extra charge of course.

I would advise that if you are just starting out, to tag along with a senior artist and assist for a while to build your portfolio and gain some experience. You learn technique, time management, and have the opportunity to work on an array of skin types, tones, and textures.
