Today we’d like to introduce you to Flavia Lares.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I am a makeup enthusiast. I love makeup, is my passion. I started doing makeup 3 years ago, I remember watching makeup tutorials till 3 am or 4 in the morning (that’s how I learned).
I started practicing on family members, almost every weekend, and after that I started getting clients.
A few months ago, a friend gave me the idea to create an Instagram account just for makeup, to show people my work. I did it and now I’m working hard on that. One of my dreams is to become a Makeup Influencer/Makeup Artist and have my own YouTube channel. I know it’s not easy, it takes time but I’m sure I’ll achieve it.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Since I use Instagram as my main page, and with the new algorithm, it is kinda hard getting more followers/views.
Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
