Meet Kevan O’Malley of Fort Worth Float Company

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kevan O’Malley.

Fort Worth Float Company officially opened its doors in February of this year. We have a mission to spread our love of floatation therapy to Fort Worth, where we are the only float center.

After discovering floatation therapy, founder Kevan O’Malley would drive an hour each way, to find relief from pain and the bombardment of stimulation from phones and screens, stress, and the overstimulation that we all deal with everyday.

Since opening, Fort Worth Float Company has hosted everyone from UFC fighters, to well-known comedians, to people needing relief from concussions, and people just wanting to unplug from the outside world for an hour.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
There have been some minor bumps in the road, but we’ve found great success with everyone we’ve helped. No matter how many obstacles we have and will encounter in the future, seeing the looks on people’s faces after their first experience floating makes it all worthwhile.

We are a float tank center, specializing in helping people find relief from physical pain, overstimulation, and plain old stress. We are proud to be the first and only floatation therapy center in Fort Worth.

We are most proud of all the people we’ve helped in the short time we’ve been open.

Everyone needs some relief and time to relax, and we love being able to provide that for them.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We plan on expanding as soon as possible to a multi-tank center, as well as fostering relationships with local police departments, firefighters, doctors and teachers – anyone with high stress jobs who could benefit from our services.
