Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Due to very few projects of this product type being built around the country, it is relatively unknown. Our biggest challenge has been branding and getting the word out to our buyers and educating the market on our product availability.
Please tell us about Garages of Texas.
Garages of Texas:
While developing self-storage facilities in several states, Fred Gans discovered a garage condominium “man-cave” project that was unique and different than any storage facility he had ever seen.
After years of research, Mr. Gans formed Garages of Texas. He began designing advanced storage facilities to meet the needs of the discretionary vehicle owner. The great success of a luxury garage community relies on several key aspects: Convenient location, quality materials, functional layout, modern amenities, high security and low-maintenance.
Garages of Texas has found a unique niche within the self-storage industry and believes this product will continue to grow in demand and popularity, eventually becoming a recognized segment of the national storage industry.
Garages of Texas equates this product to be where (mini) self-storage was in the 1970’s. Back in the 1970’s, few developers, banks or city councilmen understood the self-storage product, however, look how far the industry has come today.
A community of first-class, affordable, completely customizable garage suites. Here, you don’t rent space. You buy it. And that means exactly what you think. When you buy a garage suite, you receive a deed, title insurance, and all the perks of commercial real estate ownership—your space builds equity and you have complete financial control.
It’s time to stop fighting a losing battle for space in your family garage. Pull your show cars out from under the Christmas lights, find a new address for your motor-home, let your wife park in the garage again, and stop spending an arm and a leg renting storage that comes with restrictions on how and when you work. Become an owner of your own luxury garage suite today. This is a solution for now… an investment for the future.
