Today we’d like to introduce you to Freda Mowad.
Freda, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started my career in 1995 as a speech language pathologist. My focus has always been adults and geriatrics in both the acute and subacute settings. Through the years I moved into management as a director of rehab then a regional over multiple sites. In 2009 my company was bought and SRS was formed. At SRS I have had tremendous opportunity to grow from a regional to Vice President of Operations, to president. Being with the same company for 8 years and being here since day one, has been extremely rewarding.
Has it been a smooth road?
Anything worth doing involves challenges I suppose! One of our biggest challenges is being able to provide excellent quality care in an ever-shrinking reimbursement environment. Our therapists are passionate and want to give their all to every patient so finding creative ways to do that with much shorter approval periods is a constant challenge.

SRS is a contract rehab company that provides PT, OT, and SLP services to facilities. We are known for our customer service and dedication to our clients and their patients. It’s very important to us that we not only offer excellent therapy, but also other supportive services such as ADL training, reimbursement consulting, marketing, and strategic planning.
