Meet Freddy Camargo

Today we’d like to introduce you to Freddy Camargo.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Freddy. So, let’s start at the beginning, and we can move on from there.
Photography & illustration have always been with me, but it was not until the past 15 years I really found myself. Photography was discovered as a passion while living in the San Francisco area for more than a decade.

I had always admired the landscape and was constantly doing studies of landscapes and still objects such as flowers and watercolors. By accident, I photographed a few men at my old job in construction, and it was there I discovered I admired people and realized they could be my vessel in which to express myself.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
My struggles have been with identity, but I realized I will always be learning and with it, my identity will reveal itself. I am happy, but I know that there are more layers to peel back about myself.

We’d love to hear more about what you do.
What I am proud of is diversity. I specialize in the scope of illustration & photography.

Recently, I have begun to venture into food art. I work with my partner Rocio, she is my base, and together we embark on creative ventures. I think that is what set us apart from others is our teamwork.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We plan on bigger changes, new agencies to work with, larger client and more art to exhibit, this includes travels Global & New York.

Pricing:

  • $500 base for food art
  • $200 base for portrait
