Today we’d like to introduce you to Gen Gamez.
Gen, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I truly believe it was God sent. I received my training and did my apprenticeship at the world-renowned Sanoviv Medical Institute located in Rosarito, Baja, California and Mexico. There my mentor, Maggie Hope, and colleagues shared their skills and knowledge, to which I responded with passion. I witnessed first-hand how a holistic healing environment could help one’s life. I enjoy being a part of the contribution to the healing of mind, body, and spirit.
In 2009 I moved to Rockwall, Texas. Where I had been doing colon hydrotherapy for nine years at Rockwall Complete Healing and Wellness. I’ve worked with hundreds of clients and I have been blessed to be doing what I love. I am passionate about what I consider to be my “Blessed life’s work.”
In November of 2016, I was offered a fantastic opportunity to lead the new colon hydrotherapy department at the House of Gilead Renewal Centers in Plano, Texas. In July of 2019, God gave me a vision for Genesis Colon Care and we are blessed to now have two locations one located in Hurst and Grapevine.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Nothing about this journey has been smooth. However, when there is a passion for what you do and others, you are willing to learn and give it your all to make it successful for the well being of our clients.
Please tell us about Genesis Colon Care LLC.
Our business specializes in colon hydrotherapy which is the method of removing waste from the large intestine without the use of drugs by introducing filtered water into the colon. The wastes softened and loosened evacuates through natural peristalsis. This process is repeated a few times during the session.
Why is this a big concern you might ask. The colon is also referred to as a sewer system of the body it is a place where we store the waste material that most of us would rather not think about. A healthy colon produces vitamin B, and vitamin K, and absorbs water. A healthy digestive tract supports a healthy immune system. This is why it is a huge passion to assist clients in this process.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite childhood memory is going to the fair with my cousins.
