Meet Gina Briganti of The Reiki Cafe

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gina Briganti.

Hi Gina, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My life journey is full of twisty roads that lead to greater self-awareness and emotional healing. One fate-filled day, I was listening to NPR during lunch when Lisa Garr interviewed Gail Minogue, author of Divine Design, a book about numerology. I was intrigued to learn that numerology can look at the past, present, and future. I’m always inquisitive. At the time my children were eight and four. Numerology was a way I could explore their futures and decisions that would point them in the right direction for their life paths. That’s how I started in esoteric studies. Learning how to research timing helped me successfully pursue my dream of studying holistic nutrition. in 2005, with a freshly-earned degree, I met my Reiki Master Teacher. Nutrition coaching combined with Reiki sessions was the perfect way to help people go from where they were, to where they wanted to be. The more I learned about Reiki and meditation, the more I saw how important spirituality is in all aspects of wellness. Becoming a spiritual teacher and licensed minister was never on my radar until I realized I found my zone.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Smooth could be a relative perspective, yet I hesitate to call my road smooth. Struggles along the way have been the natural cycle of life and death, which meant parting too soon with key people and pets in my life. Support I learned how to live without through trial and error. Raising children and co-parenting with my ex threw some bumps along the way, too.

As you know, we’re big fans of The Reiki Cafe. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
The Reiki Cafe was born from a love for teaching and practicing Reiki.

I offer Reiki sessions and Reiki Level classes, which led to offering spiritual teaching and mentoring.

A few years ago, I incorporated nutrition in a new way by writing the Food as Ally program. The program’s goal is to help people repair their mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual relationships with food.

One practice that sets me apart is that when it comes to Reiki, I specialize in pet Reiki. When our pets are struggling, we do, too. In-home and virtual sessions can bring relief for the whole family.

The core of everything I offer is providing clients with the support they need, through my varied skill base, to break through to their next developmental stage.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
This has been a fun way to share my experiences. As a final word, I wish everyone inner peace and exciting adventures.
