Today we’d like to introduce you to Greg Clancy.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Greg. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I have been in music my whole life… for both vocation and avocation, I joined a renowned barbershop chorus as a 12-year old, where I received a great deal of my vocal training and musical education. After working my way up, I have been Musical Director of “VM” for the past several years. VM is the most decorated chorus in its field, winning the International Chorus contest 13 times. I happen to have the most gold medals in the Barbershop Harmony Society, at 14. More importantly, the VM Mission is to touch lives. We had a FB video go viral (8.5 million) and have had many amazing experiences, including singing with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in July.
I am GM/VP Creative at TM Studios, the largest producer of Radio ID’s in the world. I started singing freelance in the Dallas area at 23 years of age, and now, I write, sing and produce station jingles and retail jingles. I’ve written for KABC in LA, WMAL in DC and WLS in Chicago, amongst hundreds of others.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Mine has been a life of telling people I can do something until I figure out how to do it.
Lots of learning about what matters along the way.

VM is known for touching lives and inspiring people. TM is a heritage company, creating broadcast music for over 50 years.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
