Meet Ham Deeb of HDdesigner in Plano

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ham Deeb.

Ham, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Ever since I was a child, I was always into fashion and looking dapper. I always gave my mother a hard time when picking out my outfits. It always made me feel good when looking good.

In the year of 2016, I started working for a menswear store that primarily sold suits. I learned all about the details and construction of a suit that I had never known before. About two years into working there, the company went out of business.

With the experience I got from working with suits, I decided to start my own Custom Suiting business ( HDdesigner ). Ever since then, I’ve only been growing my business and turning my dreams into reality.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
As we all know, starting a business is never easy. It’s not for everybody, you have to have the passion and drive to keep going. Starting a business is a lot of stress.

The toughest part about opening a business is putting your name out there for the people to know. Advertising plays a huge part in getting your clients and getting more orders.

I’m constantly thinking of different ideas and styles that other tailors don’t have.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
HDdesigner is a Men’s Custom Formal Wear brand that I Ham Deeb, have started on my own. I was always told that there’s no such thing as the perfect suit. When I thought of starting my own brand, I knew that was something I wanted to change. I wanted to make sure that when I work with a client, they get exactly what they’d hoped for. Another goal of mine was for it to be perfectly tailored. Practicing to measure thoroughly was the first thing I did before starting my brand. My specialty is and will always be perfection. I’ve always been willing to put in the work. My consultations last as long as the client needs. It’s a personal and comfortable environment which I believe is a big reason my clients come back. There is nothing more rewarding than creating the work of art my client envisions! When I make suits for special events and my clients share photos with me, I’m most proud of getting to be a part of that special moment.

What were you like growing up?
As I said earlier in the interview, I have always been into fashion ever since I was a child. Whatever occasion it was, I would always want to look my best. All my friends would always compliment me on my looks, and they would always come to me for advice in putting a look together.

I’m always interested in learning new things, taking new and big challenges. In the line of business I’m in, there’s so much to learn on a daily bases.
