Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Hollingsworth and Mike Crockarell.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Hannah and Mike. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Mike and I talked about owning our own business many times over the years. It was something we hoped we could pursue one day. After we got married and bought a house we decided to seriously look for a small existing business we could buy and run ourselves. We made business plans for several different types of businesses. It wasn’t until we met the owner of the dry cleaner that we realized this was something that fit our background pretty well. We both have many years of customer service experience and I learned to sew when I was young so I knew we could also offer tailoring and alterations.
We bought the store and took over on April 20, 2017.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has been a smoother road than we anticipated. What we didn’t know was how hard it would be to grow the business to where we could start making a profit. However, it grew quickly month after month, each month was bigger than the one before.
Our biggest struggle was gaining the previous customers trust and earning the new customers trust. This whole process has been a huge learning experience and has included many many long days, long nights with not much break in between. We knew it would take a lot to build the business to where we wanted it to be and it has certainly been worth it.

We are dry cleaners that specializes in dry cleaning and laundry. We offer tailoring and alterations. We also provide wash and fold by the pound and can steam clean almost any household items.
We are most proud of our online reviews. We have excellent reviews on Facebook, Google and Yelp. This has contributed to gaining new customers as well. We hope to keep up our 5 star ratings.
What we hope to be known for and what we hear back from our customers is that we provide excellent customer service to everyone that comes in our store. We want every customer to be delighted and have a wonderful experience at Cash’s Cleaners.
We were also voted in as part of the best of the best for Readers choice in two categories for 2016.
What were you like growing up?
I grew up on a 40-acre farm in a small town in Arkansas. I was home schooled with my brother for many years. We were very involved in our church and the community. There was a very large population of other home-schooled families that we often socialized with. I was very into music and singing. I took private clarinet lessons and played in the church orchestra. I wanted to be a band director when I grew up. I was pretty shy and quiet until I turned 16 and started public school and got my first part time job at a local restaurant. I found my voice and started the road to who I am today.
