Today we’d like to introduce you to Harrison Daniels.
Hi Harrison, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
Before HD3 Custom Homes was created, my passion for real estate and architecture first began in 2003 seeing the Residential Construction process of our family’s dream home as a young teen. Getting to be a part of the custom home process on the hills and the waters of Joe Pool Lake opened my eyes to the possibility of what type of masterpiece can be created with time, attention to detail, and a vision! Additionally, it served as a powerful inspiration, compelling me not only to create such an environment for myself but also to transform the aspirations of families, mirroring mine, into tangible reality. Lastly, I attribute my journey and ability to share this story to the guiding hand of God, without whom I wouldn’t be here today.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The journey to a thriving and successful business hasn’t been a walk in the park – at least not in my experience. In my initial years as an agent, I faced my fair share of disappointments. Working tirelessly to build a clientele, showcasing homes, and putting in the prep work only to encounter clients backing out or struggling with a scarcity of clients to serve. Real estate may seem nice and simple, but the reality is that it’s a challenging road.
Transitioning into the role of a developer brought its own set of hurdles. From choosing the right business partners to establishing strategic processes, creating a firm foundation became pivotal. Similar to a house needing a solid foundation, a business can slide out of place without perfected processes. Navigating the complexities of daily CEO duties and effectively delegating projects to investors and team members proved to be the toughest aspects in my early years.
Now, with a bit more seasoning and improved discernment, while there are still bumps in the road dealing with diverse clientele, every challenge remains a learning and growing experience.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?

We specialize in building new homes, investment properties, townhomes, duplexes, and commercial buildouts. Recently, we built a sports clinic for Elite Alliance Physical Therapy in collaboration with CEO/Founder Dr. Emmanuel Fasanya and Taylor Gabriel.
At HD3 Custom Homes, we pride ourselves on being a business built on integrity. We keep our word and are committed to creating legacies within the community. Our team will walk you through every phase of construction or investing so you can rest assured that your project is in good hands.
Risk-taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
Real estate is a high-risk industry, and in order to succeed in real estate development, one must be willing to take risks. Real estate development can be a risky venture, but success in this field requires knowing how to minimize risk and choose the right opportunities. It takes courage to take on high-risk deals, but it’s through these moments of risk that we can reach our business goals and establish ourselves in the industry. However, it’s important to understand that success in real estate is about knowing how to mitigate risk and choosing which risks to take. When considering high-risk deals, there is usually a large investment or a building in an area that may not be viewed as profitable. As I grew my business, I networked with certain individuals, did favors, and invested a lot of my own money. Although this was risky, it was worth it because it allowed me to establish myself in the industry and connect with high-net-worth investors and clients. Starting a business is never easy, and taking risks can be daunting, but it’s important to give yourself grace and know that these moments of risk can ultimately make or break the future of your business.
