Hasheen and Rakesh, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Breakaway Chiropractic started back in 2011 with Dr. Rakesh Lad. We started off by growing our patient base by going out and doing chair massages for local businesses to get our name out there and to spread the word about Chiropractic. What started out as a two-person operation has grown into a team of five serving 150 – 200 patients per week. Myself, Dr. Hasheen Lad, joined the practice in 2016 to help the continued growth of the practice and continually reach out to much more of the community (Yes, we are brothers).
The more people that we have been able to help, the more people we have gotten to come in due to word of mouth. We take a full-body approach to our patients through Chiropractic Adjustments, specific muscle strengthening, cold level laser, Hypervolt massage, and many other tools. Our team consists of Seema (billing expert), Florencia (front desk specialist), and Justin (therapy expert). Working together as a team, we are able to create an environment that is second to none. We treat our patients with the utmost respect and take the steps necessary to get them better faster, and also teach them how to prevent things from reoccurring.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
As with everything, there is always ups and downs. With anything that you do there’s always room for improvement, and when things are going perfectly smooth, there are always ways to make things better. The moment you start slacking on things because they are going well is the moment you start to notice things. Consistency is key to keep continually growing so you don’t get stagnant.
Breakaway Chiropractic – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We are a Chiropractic office and we focus on specific movement therapy and mobility paired with adjustments and laser to really focus on corrective care. We have helped many people avoid having surgery and retraining their bodies to live a healthier life with a natural course of treatment. We also focus on preventative maintenance care to help people stay at their best. Just like working out and staying fit, regular adjustments help keep your body working at its best from the inside out. We also have a Zerona fat burning laser, which will help people lose at least 3 inches in just six treatments. We actually just had someone who lost 18 inches in 6 treatments, which was incredible.
