Today we’d like to introduce you to Hiselva Moriyon and Anna Navarro.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Hiselva and Anna. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I am originally from Venezuela and decided to move to Dallas around four years ago due to the terrible political and economical situation my country has been through. Been in Dallas, I met Anna Navarro and we realized we have a lot of things in common. We both came from the same country, I got a degree in Radiology there while she got a degree as a Physician, we both have baby boys and too many many things alike. We both were unable to work in our professions in this country and having a huge interest and passion for beauty we decided to start over and try to get new opportunities so we went together to the Beauty School and studied to be estheticians.In the meantime, we always dreamed about having our own place to work and that’s how we started dreaming about Le Beauty Spa. With a lot of effort, we started working on this project last year and this year on January the 6th, we were happy to see our dream came true when we opened our doors for the first time. Le Beauty Spa is our little pink world. We worked everything by ourselves to make everything as we expected. All the details, decor, painting, everything was days and nights of us and our families working together to get the results we dreamed about it. Le Beauty Spa is operated by us with the help of some sweeties girls who make customers feel amazing when they visit Le Beauty.
Since I started studying a Sonography program in Collin College with the goal of going back to the Health care side, Le Beauty Spa is managed by Anna, who is extremely knowledgeable and her background in Medicine makes her a great esthetician. We are happy to see our little business today and we are excited to get people to know about it. Started over in a new country, learned a new language and worked hard to make this dream come true wasn’t easy but has been totally worthy!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
First of all, the language. Spanish is our first language and we knew we have to study English first if we wanted to open a business like Le Beauty Spa. We always dreamed about a place where every one American and Hispanic people could visit, get pampered and get great luxury specialized experience in a totally affordable price. Since we are operating the business by ourselves, it is important for us to be able to communicate with our customers and have them feel comfortable in our place.
Please tell us about Le Beauty Spa.
In Le Beauty Spa, we offer customized facials treatments for everyone. Our services start with a complimentary Visia Skin Analysis, a great tool to study skin types and skin complexion to establish the perfect treatment based on your skin needs. After the consultation, we make a personalized facial for our customers to get the best results possible. All our facials included a face, neck, shoulders and hand massage. More than a facial is a complete relaxation experience. Besides the facials treatments, we offer other different beauty treatments as our super affordable Organic Whitening teeth with incredible results, anti-aging treatments, permanent makeup services, microblading, scar camouflage, waxing, eyelashes extensions and more. We are currently working in our Medical Spa licensed so pretty soon we will be including other amazing services on our menu.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Wow, this is a great question. Well, we were planning to open the spa last year in November; however, life happens and not everything goes as we expected. If We had to start over, We would be more patient and would understand better that God has perfect timing, never early, never late. We maybe also would look for more business partners from the beginning because our dream and goal is to have multiple locations in Dallas.
