Thanks for sharing your story with us Isabel. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started experimenting with art and tested my creativity at a really young age. I didn’t really recognize it until my early teens. I began to really enjoy drawing, so much that I decided I wanted to make it my career. After thinking about all of my options I chose to pursue tattooing, despite knowing how difficult it was going to be having parents who didn’t take me nor my art serious. Now 2 shops later I’m finally established at a shop that continues to help me grow as an artist and an individual
Has it been a smooth road?
I just struggled with confidence to take on the plans I had for myself.

Franklins Tattoo Supply is a fairly new tattoo shop. I am proud to be 1 of 4 artists at a shop that continues to grow day by day. I am recognized as one of the black and grey artists.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
There is really nothing to dislike about Dallas. I love the variety of things there is to do here and the different cultures of the people that live in Dallas. It creates a beautiful atmosphere.
