Today we’d like to introduce you to Isaiah Marshall.
Isaiah, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
It started back when I was in high school, me and my friends would freestyle at lunch and killing beats. Eventually, I started taking it seriously and made moves to learn the ins and outs of the entertainment industry. I eventually made contact with multiple artists across my city and have banded with great teams like MIL.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
No, it definitely was not easy. From going to performances where I was either booted from performing or going last and having no crowd to being slowly known as an artist has been crazy. It was hard trying to establish a name, especially as an amateur who watched great artists got on stage and performed leagues better than me. But I made it to where I use that energy to further myself as an artist and become greater.
Difference is Deadly Entertainment – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
The difference is deadly, aka DID ENTERTAINMENT was created by three guys who were tired of living a “normal” lifestyle. We wanted more by doing the things we love, which was wowing people with our talents and comedy. I am the CEO and founder of DID. And what makes me proud is the growth and the love my company has received over time. Oda rebel one of my best protégés is someone I believe will be a legend and not just in Fort Worth. C. will la don is the leader of what different music encompasses because you’ll never hear a style quite like his. D. Smooth is the man with dope vocals and he’s a good hitmaker. Ultimately, it’s crazy how we encompass different styles of music but when we come together it’s crazy how the synergy between our lyricism and ideas are. You’ll never find a group like ours here in Fort Worth because, even though we are different as far as our music goes, we still have the ability to push our differences aside to match any beat or vibe you throw our way.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
In my life, I believe that there’s no such thing as luck. I believe we were blessed to be here. Blessed to have come as far as we did to tell our story to those who need it.
