Meet Daniela Corea-McIntosh of Dulce Organically Sweet in Fort Worth

Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniela Corea-McIntosh.

Daniela, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Growing up I remember being surrounded by artists. All sorts of them; musicians, models, painters, poets, dancers, and so on. Blooming in a multicultural environment made it just impossible to stop my imagination from flying. I was inspired in so many ways that it made it really hard to decide and stick to one program since I consider myself a “Do it all Kinda Gal” especially when it comes to beautiful and artistic creations.

I graduated as a Chef from The Art Institute of Dallas where I also met my supportive soul and love of my life Jordan McIntosh who also graduated as a Chef and has been by my side ever since.

Even though I enjoy every single one of my projects, I am absolutely passionate about fresh and organic Baking, Pastries & Multicultural Cuisines. Which is my inspiration for the creation of my company Dulce Organically Sweet; a Gourmet-Cottage Pâtisserie focused on incorporating fresh, local, organic, non-GMO ingredients gently utilized in all of our homemade recipes to deliver the quality and integrity of our creations.

Every single one of our treats can be customized for your special occasion from vegan, gluten free or dairy free to colorful handmade designs and decorations to match your theme or business logo. Whatever the occasion, we are here to make your celebration Organically Sweet! Taking care of every little detail for you to have the best experience and collect beautiful memories in the book of happiness.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Starting my company when I was pregnant with my first child while working in the restaurant and hospitality industry made it an extremely challenging journey.

Being an entrepreneur who started from zero continues to be a challenge, especially when I have been the one to take care of every single detail of my company. From creating my logo to the sprinkles I put on my unique designs and creations.

I am now a mother of two precious toddlers, Jordan and Daniel; my everyday happiness and my motivation towards constantly pushing myself and achieving my goal of raising my other baby “Dulce Organically Sweet”.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Dulce Organically Sweet – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.

What’s your favorite memory from childhood?
My favorite memory as a child is going for morning walks with my parents and my sisters Xochilt and Mariana, who I consider my best friends. We would go pick up fruit, vegetables and dairy from the local farms to bring home and cook family meals on the weekends, followed by an afternoon tea paired with delicious homemade pastries. It is my parents Osman and Jazmina whom I have learned my basic skills from and have always been my role models for everything I do, as well as my number one inspiration as a Culinary Artist.

My grandparents Abraham, Carmen and Adela have an inspiring culinary background as owners of bakeries and cafes back in the day. I consider myself born with the gift in my blood from my ancestors. Ultimately my favorite memories are the ones created in the kitchen when we all cook together as a family adding a little something personal, creating the most delicious and unique dishes.
