Jacie and Laura, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Gift giving has been our love language within our family and friend circles. We saw the joy it brought to people when they received gifts that were personalized and unique. Our original idea was to curate bulk order seasonal boxes, but the business naturally progressed to one-of-a-kind customized gifts for specific occasions.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
When we began, we wanted to mass-produce baskets for designated holidays. Our direction shifted as clients requested more out-of-the-box gift ideas that can’t be purchased from one particular store. Our current clients were wanting more specialized and thoughtful items.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Dallas Gift Girls story. Tell us more about it.
The process begins when a client reaches out with a certain recipient and budget in mind. We walk through the process together, brainstorming & finding items that are unique to that gift. We take pride in not only finding the items but putting them together for a creative presentation. Our baskets are turn-key and can be delivered to the recipient upon request. We can also work within short deadlines if necessary.
